Lucio Silla – Hilary Finch – The Times
"Her soprano flames at its core, yet also has extraordinary subtlety and power to move in the hushed moments."
Award winning soprano, Natalya Romaniw, is equally at home on the opera stage, concert platform and in the recital hall. Currently part of Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Program, Natalya won the Young Welsh Singer Competition early in her career, the Gold Medal in her final year at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and was the winner of both the first and the song prize in the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier Award. She studies under the tutelage of John Llewleyn Evans, whilst in the UK and Dr Stephen King, whilst in the USA .
“There can be no argument that the winner of both the first and the song prize is potentially a world class artist….”
“Sensational would not be an exaggerated description of the Welsh soprano Natalya Romaniw…”
Certainly a soprano to watch
